These pictures were taken at the 2009 Hikone MINI event that took place just a 5 minute walk from our house! Of course I drove there though!!! It was a great event and one of Hikone’s mascots even made a special appearance!

I’m happy I could post these pictures at last. There is some sad news too though. Our lease on the MINI is up and Azusa and I are planning to get a new car soon. Probably not another MINI this time though. We’re going to wait until the new Countryman MINI makes it to Japan before we consider getting another. Right now we’re looking at a few cars, but I’m really interested in a new Mitsubishi! More on that later…

So, just in case you missed it… I’m back in Michigan for winter vacation!

Now that Christmas has wrapped up I’m really looking forward to the new year. Wow!!! It’s in a few hours, I guess!!! So far it’s off to a great start!!! I haven’t been this happy and optimistic in a long time! It’s been great seeing my family, hanging out with old friends and even making new ones!

I hope everybody has a great night tonight and if the aliens come… Tell them I said, “Happy New Year!!!”
