Sakura at Night
09 Apr 2009 | Comments OffIt’s that time a year again! Cherry blossom (sakura) season in Hikone! Living near Hikone Castle makes the traffic in front of our condo ghastly, but the cherry blossoms? Well worth the extra trouble!!! They are absolutely beautiful!!! No matter how many times I see them over the years, they always catch me off guard!
Last night I went out with my camera and tripod and snapped a few pictures around the castle. The only problem was that while I was setting up the camera, they turned the lights out! Ouch!!! I did manage to get a few decent photos though. This is my favorite:
