Back in Japan
26 Aug 2008 | Comments OffJust to let everybody know, I made it back to Japan safe and sound last night. I’ve got pretty bad jetlag, but it sure is great to see Azusa again!!!
Thanks to all of my family and friends for showing me a good time while I was home. If I missed you, well hopefully we can meet next time I’m back in the States. It’ll be sooner than later, I think.

18 Aug 2008 | Comments OffToday is my birthday and I’m now officially 31 years old. I kinda like it though… 31 sounds cool to me for some reason.
Anyways, before I left Japan Azusa gave me an envelope and said not to open it before my birthday. I’ve been starring at the envelope since I got to America wondering what was inside, but now I know! It was a beautiful card, a tiny cake from Hikone and a picture! Azusa always makes me feel special on my birthday! Even from the other side of the world!!!

15 Aug 2008 | Comments OffWell, I’ve been in Michigan for about 2 weeks now and time is really flying by. I’m having a lot of fun, but I really miss Azusa. I can’t wait to see her next week when I go back to Japan! There are a lot of things I could say about this trip, but perhaps the most interesting thing to me is the reverse culture shock that I experience every time I come back to the US. You know… Things change and since I haven’t been back to America in almost two years it seems that a lot has changed! It’s starting to wear off now, but for the first few days I almost felt like a foreigner in America!
