Day 0: Central Air Hotel

10 May 2006 | Comments Off

Whoever said that getting there was half the fun may have had a point. Our trip to Europe started out on Friday with a night’s stay at the brand new Central Air Hotel. We had to stay near the airport because we couldn’t make it Nagoya in time to catch our early flight if we left on Saturday morning. The hotel was very luxurious and it was great to get a good night’s sleep right before our flight. What an awesome way to start a vacation!

We could see the check in counters from our hotel room. Funny that we couldn’t hear any planes taking off.

Back from Europe

Azusa and I are back from Europe and now that our jetlag has subsided, it’s time for some major updates! The “day-by-day” format we used for our trip to Kyushu seemed to work very well so we are hoping to do that again with our European trip. We should have at least part of the day-by-day account finished by the weekend so check back soon!

I should mention that we’re also working some photo galleries from the trip, but I don’t expect to have them finished this week. Most likely early next week…

Golden Week

Next week is Golden Week in Japan and for the week long vacation Azusa and I are heading off to central Europe. It’s really exciting! We will be going to Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Austria. I’m so happy to be going because most of my family is originally from Hungary. It’s almost like returning to my roots. Anyways, I’m sure we will take tons of pictures and have some great stories to tell. Check back next week for some updates!
