Tokyo

17 Sep 2005 |

Well, Azusa and I have arrived safely in Tokyo. It was a really nice drive and it didn’t take nearly as long as we had expected. Anyways, this afternoon we visited Azusa’s high school friend and her new husband in Hachiouji. They took us to lunch at a very nice Italian restaurant and I think Azusa was happy to see her friend again…

After lunch, Azusa and I managed to get stuck for two hours in a bad Tokyo traffic jam on the way to our hotel. Oh, well… At least we got to see some of the city by car. It was actually quite a pleasant traffic jam if there is such a thing.

In the evening, Azusa and ate dinner at Outback Steakhouse near Makuhari Messe in Chiba. It was so yummy!!! Chiba is a really nice city right next to Tokyo. It seems like it would be a great place to live!

Anyways… I guess it’s just about bedtime now. It has been a pretty busy day and tomorrow will be the same. We have to get up early so we can go to the biggest video game event in the world, the 2005 Tokyo Game Show!
