Two Weeks in the Making!
27 Feb 2005 |Another two-week period with no updates to Japanamac! This time it’s not because I haven’t had anything interesting to say… I do! It’s just because I haven’t had the time to say it. The last two weeks have been super busy, but now school exams are underway in Japan. That means no classes for a while. Phew! Maybe I’ll have a little more time to do some updates… Maybe!
Anyways, let me catch you up…
This past week George Strickland visited Japan on a class trip. He’s actually my friend Tom’s little brother and I hadn’t seen him since I was in high school. He was like 6 years old then. Now he’s 18 years old!!! It made me feel really old, but it was really good to see George again… He always was a pretty cool kid.
Anyways, I promised to show George and his friend Brian around Japan a little. We met up on their two free days and I took them to some cool video game stores and arcades. You know, the real Japan! Anyways, I could tell you about how we played video games until our eyes bled, but I don’t think you want to hear about that now… Do you?
In other news, our new car will be arriving ahead of schedule. Maybe as early as next week! For those of you who don’t know yet, Azusa and I bought a 2005 MINI Cooper S. It’s going to be an amazing vehicle. Keep watching Japanamac for updates and pictures!
Last up for today is a brief statement about cell phones in Japan. It seems that after two years of complaining, there are finally some Bluetooth equipped cell phones in Japan! I’ve been pining away for a phone that can wirelessly communicate with my computer and now it seems that I may actually get one… You can check out my original Bluetooth story here.
