Anyways, this is a picture of Azusa sitting near the shore of Lake Biwa… I managed to sneak up behind her and snap a few shots… Not the greatest picture of all time, but I thought the composition was interesting… What do you think?
Scary Day
25 Mar 2004 | Comments (1)Wow… Today is a scary day for teachers all across Japan… Well, for most teachers at least… As I write this I’m sitting at my desk in the Teacher’s Room at Kawase High School… I can feel the stress in the air. You see, this day determines the course of the next year.
In Japan staff changes occur on March 25th… All public employee jobs are subject to change. In the case of teachers, every school moves at least 6 instructors to other schools… It’s kinda funny… Principals have this big meeting in Otsu and they decide who stays and who goes. It’s a little like trading baseball cards. Sometimes teachers have a choice, sometimes not…
For me, this day is scary because I will find out who my new supervisor is and whom I’ll be teaching with… I’m pretty nervous… Wish us luck!
