Picture of the Week

Last week I participated in a training seminar for the Shiga Junior High School Michigan Exchange Program. It was a fun three days and I managed to bring my camera for a few interesting shots. Anyways, this picture was taken at the seminar… Strange as it seems, the conference center had a huge replica of the statue of David. It’s 50 meters tall!

Attack of the 100 foot David!

You can view the rest of the Junior High School Michigan Exchange Program gallery by clicking here. The pictures of the actual conference center are pretty interesting too…

Well, our friends Noel and Stephanie left Japan yesterday… I think Azusa and I will miss them a lot. No… We’ll surely miss them a lot. Heck, we already do! It was really great having them here for two months. Anyways, you may want to check out their homepages by clicking here for Noel’s page or here for Stephanie’s page. They are both really great pages with fun information and interesting stories… Even better than that, they updated their pages at least 20 times more than I did for Japanamac! Check them out!

Oh, here’s a great picture that Azusa took as we were leaving for Nagoya Airport. My car was so full of luggage that Noel, Stephanie and I had to all sit in the front seat and poor Azusa couldn’t even go…

Headed for the Airport!

Finally!!! Here’s the picture of the week! I took this picture at Bryan’s wedding when Azusa and I were in America. I guess that makes this picture a little old now, but my digital photography has been on hold since I was blessed with a defective Canon EOS 10D.

Anyways, this is the Kimono that Azusa wore to the wedding. It’s an antique, actually… About 35 years old. I took Azusa and It about three weeks to learn how to tie it properly! Yes, I did help! Anyways, hope you enjoy the picture!
