Kobe Training

29 May 2003 | Comments (2)

Hey guys! Just got back from training in Kobe. Man, am I tired! Anyways, sorry for the lack of updates lately… Pretty busy, you know…

Kobe is probably the most beautiful city I have ever seen… I really like it there… The city is so clean and new. Probably because it was destroyed in the 1990’s by a huge earthquake. Hard to imagine…

Anyways, here is a picture of me in Nankin Machi. Nankin Machi is Kobe’s China Town… Very cool place indeed…

I’m sure I’ll have more to say tomorrow, but for now it’s bed time!!! Goodnight all!

Ask Snoop?

Ok… Today I was browsing the internet and I stumbled across something pretty darn funny. The “Shizzolator” is a webpage translator that turns normal web page text into Snoop Dogg’s rap style. Check out asksnoop.com if you want to see it in action… Be warned though, the Shizzolated pages do contain a fair amount of bad language. Anyways, I ran my web page address through the Shizzolator just for kicks and it came out so freakin’ funny! I don’t know if everybody will appreciate this type of humor, but it’s worth a look…

Just what I always wanted! Now you can have the world famous rap star Snoop Dogg translate all of your favorite web pages from the shizzle to tha shizznit! Know what I’m sayin’?

Out of This World?

Well, here’s something interesting for you… I might be an extra in an upcoming Japanese movie by Junji Sakamoto! Here’s a little plot blurb:

Set against the backdrop of the post World War II period, Out of This World is the story of a group of young Japanese musicians who find the musical chance of a lifetime playing Jazz at American military clubs. In the chaotic poverty of the early Occupation, the clubs were a veritable gold mine for all who worked there.

I’ll post more information when or if I find out I got the part. Wish me luck!

Ready to roll whenever you are Mr. Sakamoto!!!

Update:

Well, it looks like I made it! There is a big problem though… Most of the shooting days they want me for are scheduled during the working week… Oh, man! Right now it looks like I can’t go, but I’ll keep you posted! Can’t take vacation days to be in a movie, you know… Poo…
