Feeling Worse
21 Apr 2003 | Comments (0)Oh, man… It’s been four days since I got sick. Today I was feeling better and when I got home I decided to take a nap. Good idea, right? When I woke up I noticed that my nose and throat didn’t hurt anymore. Yeah!
Then I noticed the ringing, nagging pain in my left ear. Not yeah… Think I’ll be going to the doctor tomorrow… Poo…
Feeling Better
18 Apr 2003 | Comments (0)Oh, man… I’ve been pretty sick for the last two days… I actually didn’t go to work yesterday or today. I think it was the usual cold. Runny nose, cough, etc… At least I’m feeling better now. I should be perfect again by tonight or tomorrow morning.
I Have a Clue…
15 Apr 2003 | Comments (0)Well, now the school year is in full swing here in Japan and I finally have an idea what is going on with my job. There was a lot of speculation that I would be switching schools or possibly dropping one of the two entirely… To tell you the truth, I was quite worried…
In the end, not much has changed. I will remain at both schools and I will teach 4 completely different grade levels. Really, the only new classes that I have picked up are the Kawase junior high classes. I don’t mind the extra work though… Those kids are hilarious and smart too!
Culture Note:
In Japan, high school only has three grade levels. I guess that means that my first year students are the equivalent of American Sophomores…
