I Have a Clue…
15 Apr 2003 |Well, now the school year is in full swing here in Japan and I finally have an idea what is going on with my job. There was a lot of speculation that I would be switching schools or possibly dropping one of the two entirely… To tell you the truth, I was quite worried…
In the end, not much has changed. I will remain at both schools and I will teach 4 completely different grade levels. Really, the only new classes that I have picked up are the Kawase junior high classes. I don’t mind the extra work though… Those kids are hilarious and smart too!
Culture Note:
In Japan, high school only has three grade levels. I guess that means that my first year students are the equivalent of American Sophomores…
